I follow the standard fees as outlined by the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA) for Registered Psychologists (including for clients from Nunavut and Quebec):
- Individual Therapy - $235/hr (50 Minute Session)
- Couples & Relationship Counselling - $352.50/hr (75 Minute Session)
How much do assessments cost?
The rate for assessments is based on the number of sessions required to complete the assessment (generally 1-3 sessions), the cost of assessment instruments used, and whether a brief or comprehensive report is needed. I am happy to provide an estimate prior to beginning the assessment process, and discuss during an initial free consultation.
Is therapy covered by my insurance plan?
Yes, plans that accept the services of a Registered Psychologist will cover my services. I provide receipts and documentation that you can submit to your extended health insurance plan for reimbursement. I can also provide documentation for Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) when applicable.
