I acknowledge that I am a settler on the traditional Treaty 7 territory in Moh’kinstsis, colonially known as “Calgary”. I respectfully acknowledge that this territory is home to the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the  Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations, and Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. 

I understand that without action, acknowledgement is not enough. I am committed to educating myself on how I can better respect, learn from, and advocate for all Indigenous peoples.
